Hi there,

My mother recently got LASIK and now I am actually considering it myself.

I've always hated glasses and contact lenses and have found that my eye sight has gotten worse over the past few years. They are such a nuisance and well I'm sure you know the rest.

That is why I've considered this option I guess.

As a tennis player and a swimmer, I find it incredibly annoying to use contact lenses or glasses and sometimes find that my contacts wash out or my glasses drop. They sometimes distract and prohibit myself from playing these sports.

I don't know much about it yet, but I'm reading through all the risks and things like that in the booklet.

It's not confirmed. Just a thought I've had recently.

I'm still scared about the after effects and have read some scary stories about people who have had disastrous results. (rare, but there are a few)
