I was sleeping on my back... and when i woke up a glob of blood was in my mouth...there was no further bleeding...so i thought maybe i had had a nose bleed while in my sleep but there was no signs of one...CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME IF THIS IS SERIOUS!!!

Well my husband has this problem all the time because of the dry air. It is usually a nose bleed or you could have bit your tounge. But still I would get it checked out, just incase it is something else

could be the heat...that could cause some blood.. or nose bleed..

or check maybe u have bleeding gums...

this is normal as i have it too....

if none of above best to go to doctor....and check it out...no harm done..just to be sure..

Probably a sinus bleed if your throat was dry in the morning. If your stools arent black and you arent vomitting blood....do not worry about it. Sometimes when the air is dry i sniff up some bloody mucous in the morning.
